Mayer’s Hematoxyline and Eosin solution are intended for staining of histological tissues (HE-staining). In Mayer’s Hematoksylin-Eosin staining tissue components are stained on the basis of their pH. Hematoxylin stains acidic tissue components such as nucleic acids and thus it is a good nuclear stain. Eosin stains alkaline tissue components like fibrous and muscle tissue and eosinophils.

Reagena May-Grünwald and Reagena Giemsa solutions are intended for use together with the Reagena Phosphate buffer in morphological inspection and differential counting of blood cells with the May-Grünwald-Giemsa staining method. May-Grünwald staining combines the effect of acidic eosin and alkaline methylene blue. Giemsa staining makes effect of azur. The result gives differential staining of the white cells upon their cytochemical properties.

Fixatives are available in a variety of different packaging sizes to meet your special needs. Products are CE-marked under the In Vitro Diagnostic Regulation (IVDR).
